Academic Rheumatologists in Kingston, Ontario provide rheumatology care for a population of over of half a million people in Southeastern Ontario.  Academic rheumatologists are associated with Queen’s University and see patients from Hotel Dieu Hospital, while there are a number of community rheumatology options as well.  To receive a first appointment, you must be referred, usually from another physician.

Appointments

Plan on being at your appointment at least 30 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to park and find the clinic. As well, prior to your appointment, one of our nurses will check your blood pressure and review your medications.

Your physician cannot guarantee your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late.

Parking

Please note: There are a number of bus routes that will drop you off within a block of Hotel Dieu Hospital.  To plan your trip, use Kingston Transit’s Trip Planner, or the Transit App.

In addition to paid street parking, there are a number of paid parkades within walking distance of the clinic.  However, please give yourself extra time as parking can take longer than anticipated.  Patients may also be dropped off by the front door entrance.

  • Chown Memorial Parking Garage – located across the street from the clinic on Brock Street.
  • Robert Bruce Parking Lot – located a block away near the corner of Bagot and Brock.

Directions to the Rheumatology Clinic

As you enter the building, use the elevators to go up to the 5th floor. The Rheumatology Clinic is on Jean Mance 5, a right hand turn when leaving the elevators.
